Engineers who think
commercially. Advisers
who can ship.

LTL AI is a small, senior team working where artificial intelligence, software engineering and capital allocation meet. If you have ever been frustrated by strategy that never gets built, or by software built for no particular reason, you will recognise the place.

Life at LTL AI

What it is actually like

Evidence-driven and quietly demanding. We argue about whether something should be built more than about how to build it, and we write things down.

  • 01

You will see the whole chain

From the discovery conversation to the deployed system to the measurement afterwards. Nobody here works on a component without knowing what it is for.

  • 02

    Judgement over hype

Recommending against an AI implementation is a good outcome when it is the right answer. Nobody is measured on how much technology they deployed.

  • 03

    Written before spoken

Proposals are documents. If the problem, the approach and the measure of success cannot be written clearly, the idea is not ready.

  • 04

    Small team, real scope

Senior people, few layers and direct client contact from early on. The trade-off is that there is nowhere to hide an unfinished thought.

Hiring process

Four conversations, no games

01

Screen

A thirty-minute call about what you have actually built or advised on, and what you want to be doing next.

02

Practical exercise

A real problem from our work, done in your own time. Paid, scoped to a few hours, and never used commercially.

03

Panel

You walk the team through your reasoning and defend the trade-offs. We are testing judgement, not recall.

04

Final conversation

A candid discussion of fit, expectations and compensation. We make decisions within five working days.

build here.
