Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data LTL AI collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how AI systems are involved, and the rights you hold over it.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Who we are
LTL AI (“LTL AI”, “we”) is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and in the course of providing AI software, advisory and investment management services. Our contact details appear on our contact page.
2. What we collect
Identity and contact details you provide through forms or correspondence; professional details such as your organisation and role; information required for client due diligence and, where investment services are involved, anti-money-laundering and eligibility checks; project and engagement records; and technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
3. Why we use it
To respond to enquiries; to perform a contract for services; to comply with legal and regulatory obligations including client identification, record-keeping and reporting; to operate and secure this website; and, where you have consented, to send you our writing and firm updates. You may withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
4. Personal data and AI systems
Where an engagement involves AI systems processing data on your behalf, that processing is governed by the written agreement for that engagement. As a matter of policy: client data is segregated by engagement; it is not used to train models for other clients without explicit written consent; and where a third-party model provider is involved we document which provider is used, what data reaches it, and on what retention terms. We do not use personal data submitted through this website to train any model.
5. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means through this website. Where an AI system we build for a client is capable of automated decision-making, the permission boundaries and human review points are defined in that system’s design documentation.
6. Who we share it with
Service providers acting on our instructions — hosting, communications, model and analytics providers, auditors and professional advisers — under written contracts; and regulators, tax authorities or law enforcement where required. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside Malaysia. Where personal data leaves the country in which it was collected, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.
8. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as the relationship requires and then for the period mandated by applicable record-keeping rules, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Retention periods for engagements involving regulated financial services activity are set by the applicable regulatory requirements.
9. Your rights
Subject to local law, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to info@ltl-ai.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies
This website uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation and does not run advertising or cross-site tracking. If analytics are introduced, this notice will be updated and consent obtained where required.
This is a template notice supplied with the website build. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel, and aligned to Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act and any other law that applies to you, before publication.
